Features
The Inter-Agency Child Protection Information Management System supports child protection programs by facilitating case management and identifying protection concerns for separated children, children associated with fighting forces and armed groups (CAAFAGs) and other vulnerable children. It supports family tracing and reunification by tracking tracing, reunifications and follow-ups as well as matches between family members searching for missing children and registered separated children. The system has been used by international and national non-governmental and governmental organizations in 13 countries globally. The system is currently being enhanced so that, in addition to supporting child protection programs in emergency contexts, it is also used in post-conflict settings and as a starting point for country wide national case management systems.
The document posted here provides more information on the database. Access to the inter-agency child protection information management system is available upon request by contacting Severine Chevrel at severine.chevrel@theirc.org.
